  • Image 1. Feb 8th Patient 20+ years, with CGD who presented breathless and coughing up purulent sputum.

  • Image 2. Feb 8th Close up of the right lung showing multinodular pattern.

  • Image 3. Feb 14th Six days later he was clinically improved, having required three days of nasal CPAP and voriconazole.

  • Image 4. Feb 14th Close up of the left lung field showing some small and other large coalescing nodules.

  • Image 5. Feb 19th Chest x-ray showing apparent worsening of the left lower zone, but improvement in the upper zone.

  • Image 6. Mar 12th Chest x-ray just before discharge from hospital or oral voriconazole showing marked improvement, but residual disease especially in the left lower lung behind the heart, with some suggestion of bronchiectasis in this area.

Image 1. The chest x-ray shows extensive bilateral nodular disease, most consistent with a fungal infection, or possibly tuberculosis. He was treated with a bucket face mask with 80% oxygen and voriconazole.
