The position will be a part of a bustling NIH funded research environment that is active in areas of molecular biology, fungal immunology and pathogenesis of fungal/bacterial organisms and drug development.
The research projects focus on identifying signaling pathways governing biofilm dispersal in Candida albicans, and will utilize medicinal chemistry approaches to discover novel inhibitors of biofilm formation and dispersal.
Cloning, CRISP-CAs, RNA, other molecular approaches to make mutants in fungi/bacteria
