Onco-Transplant Infectious Diseases Fellowship Position

The Department of Infectious Diseases, Infection Control and Employee Health at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is offering 1-2 yr. additional training in Onco-Transplant Infectious Diseases to fellows graduating from ACGME accredited programs in the US.  Fellows in this program will gain expertise in the prevention and management of infections in immunocompromised and cancer patients with an emphasis on infections in patients with leukemia, lymphoma and undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.  Fellows will have protected time to pursue research and educational activities. 

To be considered for the 2018 academic year, candidates must be eligible/licensed to practice in the state of Texas.  We anticipate that foreign medical graduates on US training visas will be eligible to apply in July 2019.  For more information, please send a letter of interest, curriculum vitae and personal statement to Pablo C.
