Discovery of novel fungal or bacterial enzyme candidates active on selected contaminants using different “omics” tools, e.g. informatics, metabolomics, proteomics using the technology platforms at the DTU-Bioengineering. Cloning and production of target candidate enzymes in yeast (P. pastoris) expression systems for evaluation of their activity. Selecting and setting up appropriate analytical tools and activity assays for qualitative and quantitative analysis of the enzymatic pollutant conversion | Minimum Requirements: The successful candidate is a highly talented, self-driven and motivated scientist with a documented track record of excellence and a PhD degree in Protein Chemistry, Protein Engineering/design, Chemistry or relevant related disciplines. A solid background in chemistry and/or experience in oxidoreductases are highly desirable.
