Anidulafungin in Combination with Amphotericin B against Aspergillus fumigatus

We investigated the in vitro and in vivo effects of anidulafungin (AFG) alone and in combination with amphotericin B (AMB) against three clinical isolates of Aspergillus fumigatus. The minimum effective concentrations (MECs) of AFG ranged from 0.001 to 0.002 mg/L and were significantly lower than AMB MICs (P 16 mg/L, while AMB MFCs ranged from 0.5 to 2.0 mg/L.
