Abstract:
Correspondence; no abstract. First paragraph: Voriconazole is now widely used for the treatment of a wide range of fungal infections, including invasive infections due to Aspergillus fumigatus. There have been a few case reports of voriconazole efficacy in bone and joint infections. However, voriconazole concentrations in these tissues were not reported. A medical case has given us the opportunity to measure voriconazole concentrations in an infected knee with an associated osteomyelitis.
