A New Indeterminate Stromatal Type in Petromyces

Abstract:

A new species of Petromyces, characterized by irregularly-shaped, indeterminately-growing stromata, is described. The anamorph of P. albertensis is very similar to Aspergillus alliaceus and is recognized as the new species A. albertensis.
