Aspergillus species

A. fischerianus

Anamorph. Neosartorya fischeri (Wehmer) Malloch & Cain.

Closely related to N. spinosa, a telomorphic form of Aspergillus spinosus

Pathogenicity. A case of keratitis was described from N. fischeri (Coriglione et al., 1990). Neosartorya pseudofischeri Peterson has been reported from osteomyelitis (Padhye et al., 1994)
