PDA is not a suitable medium for Aspergillus species from the environment. Media such as Czapek Yeast Extract agar with higher levels of carbohydrate are better. It is impossible to recognise an Aspergillus species from such a meagre description.
> 2. What is the name of yellowish metabolite produced
That of course depends on the species. But production of yellow metabolites by Aspergillus is very rare. Penicillium species produce yellow pigments much more frequently.
> 3. What medium/media suitable for maximum spore production of Aspergillus
Again it depends on the species. But CYA is usually effective.

The best recent reference on general Aspergillus species is "Laboratory Guide to common Aspergillus species" by Maren A. Klich and J.I. Pitt. Published by CSIRO Division of Food Science, North Ryde, N.S.W. Australia. I sell this for US$44. See e-mail address.
Dr Latge is correct. Contact me and we will be happy to look at your isolate. Cost, about A$150.
