Video clips : 3. Growth of filament showing division of the nucleus (Aspergillus nidulans)

Fungal tip growth and nuclear movement in an A.nidulans strain with green flourescent stained nuclei. Time lapse pictures were taken at 12 minute intervals.
At cell division, (mitosis) the GFP is seen outside the nuclei. The movie illustrates the coupled mitosis of all nuclei together before the first formation of a septum takes place, and after septa formation the compartment specific coupled mitosis.
