Rules and regulations
There is a defined management structure which we hope will ensure the smooth running of this discussion group. It is therefore important that you read this before you write your first message to this group.
We would also request that members pay attention to the following helpful hints which will make the discussion group easier to use for everyone.

• Try to restrict postings to one or two per day, especially at busy times
• If you find you are receiving too many messages per day, subscribe to the digest version of the group (whereupon you will only be sent one Email per day containing all of that day's contributions) or opt to receive no Email at all and use website access alone.

What to expect
Once you subscribe you will start to receive mail from all members of the group - this includes you so don't be surprised when a copy of every Email you send out to AspergillusSupport@yahoogroups.co.uk arrives in your mailbox! There can be anything from a couple of dozen messages to none at all arriving every day you are subscribed so check your mailbox frequently to prevent it becoming full - if this happens your Email service provider will start sending incoming mail back to the sender and the computer which deals with our discussion list Email will detect this and remove you from the list.

When you write an Email asking for a response it may or may not get one! It all depends on whether or not anyone has a comment to make. You may send an answer to a message to the whole Mailing list or just to the person who asked the question - it is up to you - hitting the reply button will send it to the whole group. If your reply is potentially of interest to us all please send it to the whole group.

If you ask for a specific response from the website you should get an answer within a few working days. We get regular contributions from medical specialists but there is sometimes a delay of a day or two more for these as they often do not check their mail every day.
