The Aspergillosis Patient Support and Aspergillus Website's are mainly funded by charitable donations to the Fungal Research Trust. The Fungal Research Trust also funds and supports research into fungal diseases around the world. Over 99% of all income (2008 figures) to the Fungal Research Trust is spent on research and support for fungal diseases and people suffering from fungal diseases. Administration spending is kept to an absolute minimum. If you found our websites and services helpful and useful or you wish to contribute to the research work funded by the FRT you might like to donate to the Fungal Research Trust.

The Fungal Research Trust is a not-for-profit charity based in the UK which was formed in 1991. The Trust's objectives are the following:

People often use these donations in the UK to ensure that their estate (including property, savings, investments) falls below the limit for Inheritance Tax (charged at 40% over £325 000 estate value). The result is that the Fungal Research Trust would get your money rather than the Inland Revenue. These arrangements are best made by a solicitor who specialises in this field. Locate one here (UK only) or here (USA). There are several companies that will help you organise a legacy donation These tend to charge for their services so your donation is reduced slightly. Many charities have very full details on what to do. One of the best is Cancer Research UK. If you use CRUK you will just have to change their details to that of the FRT, the rest of the information applies just as well to the FRT as it does to CRUK.
